Samut Songkram woman, 70, killed crossing road
A 70-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car while crossing a road in Muang Samut Songkram on Tuesday morning.
Police said Juk Saributr was killed on Samut Songkram-Amphawa Road in Moo 11, Tambon Ban Prok.
The driver, Panida Ritthithep, 43, waited for police at the scene.
She said she was travelling from Nakhon Pathom to work at the Samut Songkram Juvenile and Family Court.
Panida said she was rounding a curve and saw Juk too late to stop.
