Motorists urged to avoid roads around Kasetsart University during commencement ceremonies
Traffic police on Wednesday urged motorists to avoid roads around Kasetsart University next week, when annual commencement ceremonies will bring congestion.
The commencement ceremonies start on October 21 (Sunday) and run till October 25.
Judging from the traffic situation during the full dress rehearsals, which started on Monday and will end on Friday, the roads around the university could be jammed traffic next week, said Pol Lt Col Phansa Amarapithak, deputy commander of the Vibhavadi Rangsit police station.
Police say the routes worst affected will be Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Ngam Wong Wan Road and Phaholyothin Road.
