MCOT to return 14 MCOT Family channel to NBTC
The board of directors of MCOT broadcasting company has decided to notify the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) that it intends to return the license to operate 14 MCOT Family channel.
In a press release on Friday the company said it will submit an official letter to the NBTC before May 10, 2019.
MCOT said it will continue to support children, youth, family and society through all its media outlets.
In addition to compensation paid by the NBTC, MCOT will be waived the payment of the remaining licence fee for the 5th and 6th instalments.
