Bangkok to host ‘Sister Cities Week 2019’
The BMA is playing host to “Sister Cities Week 2019” on Friday and Saturday (June 28-29), welcoming some 180 delegates from the country’s 18 sister cities and showcasing more than 30 cultural performances as well as Bangkok Brand local products at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
Among the highlights are performances by Seoul-based B-Boy group, Gamblerz Crew”, the two-time winner of “Battle of the Year” as well as young and talented artists from Beijing, Chaozhou, Dalian, Tianjin, Shandong Province, Daegu, Jakarta, Nur-Sultan, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Fukuoka Prefecture, Porto and Bangkok.
The Sister City exhibition features photo displays and information about the cities and their cooperation and exchanges with the BMA.
BMA’s very own Bangkok Brand stalls, which aim to promote local entrepreneurs, will be offering a selection of products and souvenirs.
