Minor tremblor rattles Chiang Mai border town
A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, northwest of Chiang Mai’s Fang district early Wednesday, the Seismological Bureau announced.
The bureau under the Meteorological Department said the quake’s epicentre was five kilometres deep and was located at Latitude 20.85.8 North and Longitude 98.27.3 East. The location was about 143 kilometres northwest from Fang.
The tremblor occurred at 2.47am Thailand time.
