JSL moves from media content to beauty

Media content provider JSL Global Media has entered into a joint venture with lemon and herb farm Pasutara to enter the beauty business as part of its move to diversify risk from its existing content business.

JSL chief executive Ratiwan Thanathammaroj said that the company will make and sell personal care products and household utensils under the brand Ali, targeting health-conscious consumers.

he prices of the company's products will be lower than those of international brands and premium Thai brands. The products will be available both online and offline.


Ratiwan says the new business is expected to generate Bt2 - Bt3 million revenue in the first year and increase to Bt5 million in the next year.
