University, Double A open hatchery for student innovation

The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Double A (1991) Plc have opened a co-working space where students can learn the tricks of using innovation to build startups.

Double A president Yothin Dumnernchanvanit said his firm saw the importance of fostering a new generation of Thais who could keep up with global digital developments and help support the nation’s economy.
“Double A decided to support UTCC in building the co-working space for learning and devising ideas, where new-gens startups of the future will be conceived under concept of business-driven innovation,” he said.
“Its strong point is mentor service. There will be UTCC professors to advise the students and entrepreneurs who are determined to become professional businesspeople.”
As well as a co-working space, there are meeting rooms for private activities and group projects and a multi-purpose space for workshops that’s fully equipped with digital equipment.
Double A has installed its “Fastprint” printers by which documents can be transferred to paper via a phone application around the clock.
