Laos has found the country’s first two Covid-19 cases – a 36-year-old female tour guide and a 28-year-old male worker at Crowne Plaza hotel in Vientiane, the Public Health Ministry announced today (March 24).

Both had been in contact with foreigners and have a travel history. They have been admitted to hospital, which is preparing 150 beds to accommodate future cases.
