Kalasin hotels ordered to shut


Kalasin governor Chitavat Niamsiri has ordered all hotels in the northeastern province to close from Wednesday (April 8) until further notice to curb the escalating Covid-19 outbreak.

However, any hotel that wants to stay open can submit its screening practices to the health authorities in the province for consideration on a case-by-case basis.
Hotels with guests who arrived prior to the closure order are permitted to stay open until all their guests have checked out but must then close their doors immediately.
