Hot to very hot weather with thundershowers in upper Thailand

Hot to very hot weather and thundershowers are likely over upper Thailand as a thermal low cell remains while southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the area, the Meteorological Department said today (May 4).

An easterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South with thundershowers expected. From today to May 9, the low pressure cell over Sumatra will intensify and move to the upper Bay of Bengal, causing stronger wind and waves on the Andaman Sea, it added.
