Over 239 Thais set to return home today

More than 239 Thai nationals are returning home today (May 4), said Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesperson of the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration.

They include 131 Thais from the Maldives and 162 from Hong Kong.
Taweesin said another 236 Thai nationals – 220 from India and 16 from France – are scheduled to fly back tomorrow (May 5).
Some 4,109 Thais have returned from 25 countries from April 4 to May 3, he said, adding that another 7,284 returned by road from neighbouring countries during the April 18-May 3 period.
On Sunday, 465 came home – 54 from Laos, 387 from Malaysia, 23 from Cambodia and one from Myanmar.
