The Mirror Foundation has announced Wanchalearm Satsaksit, 37, a political activist who was kidnapped in Cambodia on Thursday (June 4), a missing person to raise awareness about his abduction.

It is a non-government organisation that deals with issues such as citizenship, drug abuse, erosion of culture, and the trafficking of women and children, through several projects. The foundation said it saw the Wanchalearm case as its responsibility.
The foundation's members are making a missing person report assuming that it was a case of forced disappearance.
Wanchalearm was abducted by unknown persons from outside an apartment building in Phnom Penh, David Griffiths, director in the Office of the Secretary-General at Amnesty International, said
He fled Thailand in 2014 after the military seized power, and has been a vociferous critic of the administration of PM Prayut Chan-o-cha ever since, broadcasting his views on Facebook.
