Frasers Property appoints real-estate veteran as CEO

Leading integrated property platform, Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Co Ltd, on Friday (June 19) appointed Thanapol Sirithanachai as its country chief executive officer. The appointment is effective from August 17.

Reporting to the group CEO, Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Thanapol will play a key role in leading and building a growth plan for the company and will also oversee its investment strategies.
Last year, the company completed the acquisition of Golden Land Property Development Public Co Ltd, which helped make Frasers a top integrated real-estate platform in Thailand, with a portfolio spanning industrial, logistics, residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
Fraser currently holds assets worth more than Bt100 billion.
The soon-to-be CEO is a real-estate veteran with more than 30 years in the industry under his belt. Before joining Frasers Property, he was the president of Golden Land, where in three years of leadership, he turned the company into a profit-making venture.
Golden Land became one of the top five real-estate companies in Thailand within seven years. Its developments range from office towers, service apartments, hotels, to low-rise developments such as single detached homes and town homes. Its latest mixed-use project, Samyan Mitrtown, received overwhelming market response.
Before Golden Land, Thanapol served as managing director of Univentures Plc. While there, he led the creation of “Park Ventures – the Ecoplex on Witthayu”, which is believed to be the best office complex in Bangkok and is recognised for its high energy conservation standards.
Thanapol has also engaged in many social activities and charities, including chairing a mentorship programme for a top management institution. He also holds a top post at the Chanapatana International Design Institution.
Thanapol picked up his bachelor’s in engineering from Chulalongkorn University before earning a master’s in business administration from University of Texas as well as completing an advanced management course at Harvard University.
