Samut Sakhon vendors rush to sell perishable goods as lockdown kicks in
Despite the soaring number of Covid-19 cases, some vendors in Samut Sakhon province still came out to open their street stalls on Sunday morning.
Public health officials have announced a curfew from 10pm to 5am but the vendors had already prepared products before they were notified.
The local vendors did not want to lose fresh products that might get rotten if they did not sell them quickly.
It is the second time that Samut Sakhon has become quiet since the Covid-19 outbreak in the province at the beginning of this year.
