Mornings will see foggy conditions with dense fog in some places while the weather will remain cool to cold, the Thailand Meteorological Department said. People in upper Thailand should exercise caution while moving outdoors due to poor visibility, the department said.

A rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while there is a low cell over the coast of Malaysia. Isolated heavy rain is likely in the lower South. People in these areas should beware of heavy rain and accumulated rain that may cause flash flooding.

Moderate winds trigger waves in Nakhon Si Thammarat southward about two metres high and above three metres during thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution, the department said.
