Meanwhile, the moderate northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South leads to isolated thundershowers in the lower Gulf and the South. Moderate winds will raise waves up to more than two metres high during thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, the department said.

East: Cool weather with light fog in the morning; temperature lows of 21-24°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres offshore.
South (east coast): Thundershowers in 30 per cent of the areas; temperature lows of 21-25°C, highs of 30-32°C; waves two metres high and over two metres during thundershowers.
