Navy creates Facebook PR page on submarines amid widespread criticism
The Royal Thai Navy has created a Facebook fanpage named “Thai Submarines” in order to inform the general public about the watercraft, which many people see as extravagance and a useless investment of the Navy, as well as a corruption channel of the military wing.
The Navy said that information and news on the submarines would be updated on the page, with an aim to show that they were more than a weapon.
It also added that a specific unit had been assigned to be in charge of this page.
