Three Covid-19 patients arrested for travelling out of their province
Police on Sunday night arrested three people for leaving Sa Kaew after testing positive for Covid-19. The patients have been identified as Kamonwan Lummanee, 46, Kamolchanok Wichachim, 26, and Pannuwat Khanthakot, 23.
Police said the two women and one man left Sa Kaew last week after their infections were confirmed through proactive testing.
The three first hid in Samut Prakan province before deciding to head to Suphanburi. However, they were caught at the border of Nakhon Nayok province.
The three were later admitted to a hospital in Sa Kaew and will be charged for violating the Emergency Decree and Communicable Disease Act.
