Phase three of the "Kon La Kreung" (Lets Go Halves) campaign will offer 16 million users a 50 per cent discount on up to 150 baht of daily purchases, capped at Bt3,500 per month. The programme will open for registration on June 14.
The “Ying Chai Ying Dai” (Spend More, Get More) campaign will hand e-vouchers worth up to Bt7,000 to 4 million registrants. Registration opens on June 21.
However, holders of state welfare cards will not be eligible to register for either programme since they are already entitled to the Bt200 monthly handout for low-income earners.
“If you wish to apply for other campaigns, you need to give up your rights as a state welfare cardholder and turn in your card at the Comptroller General's Department or Provincial Office of Comptroller General in your areas before June 7,” said Fiscal Policy Office director-general Kulaya Tantitemit.
“If you turn in your card after that date, you will not be able to register for either of the campaigns.”
