Around two-thirds of Covid-19 patients possibly died due to non-communicable diseases and not Covid-19 itself, the Department of Disease Control has said.
Statistics show that patients with high blood pressure have a 2.17 times higher risk of death than other infected persons. Meanwhile, the risk for patients with diabetes is 4.34 times higher.
