More people are riding on the Changi Airport Extension, after years of disappointing ridership figures since the SMRT service opened in 2001.

	An SMRT spokesman said that since 2008, the number of commuters on the 6km rail from Tanah Merah to the airport has risen, on average, by 8.3 per cent annually.
