Conglomerates from around the world are looking to stake their claim in Myanmar's "frontier" economy at this month's International Construction, Power & Mining Exhibition.

Organised by the Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the three-day event runs from October 31 at the Myanmar Convention Centre in Yangon.
Thai businesses will be joined at the trade fair by counterparts from Australia, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE and Britain.
Rich in natural resources including precious metals and gemstones, Myanmar also has the 10th largest reserves of natural gas in the world.
