Carlsberg imports material for beer factory

Myanmar Carlsberg, a joint venture between Carlsberg and MGS Beverages, is opening a beer factory in Bago. Materials and equipment have arrived at Thilawar port and are being transported to the industrial project zone in Bago.
Carlsberg Group is the world’s fourth-largest brewery group and will own 51 per cent of the newly formed Myanmar Carlsberg company.
Carlsberg was granted permission by the Myanmar Investment Commission in February last year and plans to brew and market beer in Myanmar under its world-renowned label.
