Prayut flew from the Don Mueang military airport at 11am. He is scheduled to meet officials from leading South Korean conglomerates, including Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and K-Waters.
Prayut has planned bilateral talks with other regional leaders and to “connect with top business players”, according to the government-run Mass Communications Organisation of Thailand. The two-day summit is intended to boost the strategic partnership between South Korea and the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
