New airline to take off next month

Apex, a new domestic airline, will start its operations next month with flights from Nay Pyi Taw to Yangon, Myeik and Dawei.
It is the 11th domestic airline. It is based in Nay Pyi Taw.
“We plan to fly to Yangon, Myeik and Dawei from Nay Pyi Taw initially. Our airline bought a new ATR72-600 aircraft from France and we will expand our domestic routes if more planes arrive,” said Phyu Thin Ei, sales and marketing officer from Apex.
The airline has bought two new aircraft which will arrive at the end of the year and in 2016. It plans to buy more aircraft from Airbus for international routes.
Apex plans to sell shares to the public.
