Laos appoints new ambassador to Thailand
The government of Laos has appointed Seng Soukhathivong as its new ambassador to Thailand, the Laos Post website reported on Wednesday.
President Bounnhang Vorachith has given credentials to Seng to perform his duties in Thailand, the report said.
Bounnhang congratulated Seng over the appoinment, and Seng thanked the government for entrusting him with the task. He promised to carry out his duties to the best of his abilities.
