Ten months behind bars obviously made Nathan even more attractive to some people, because he swiftly had offers from two different television shows.
Okay, we admit it – our own Mango TV was one of them. But Nathan instead chose Modernine’s “Chao Doo Woody” to share his personal Paris Hilton Episode.
“The worst experience,” he told them (not us), “was when I first went in I had to be naked in the restroom, without any partitions.”
But then he got to put his clothes back on and discovered that the other inmates knew who he was and everybody wanted the inside scoop on show business. And his autograph – he signed lots of autographs.
Nathan learned that the inmates’ greatest fear is that they won’t be accepted back into society when they get out. That turned out to be not a problem for him, though.
Son of a gun
Singer-actress Marsha Wattanapanich’s son Nawapon, known as Guy, made her proud recently with the way he belted out a song for which she wrote the lyrics. You’ll soon hear him singing it on his Dara TV series “Hob Rak Ma Hom Pa” on Channel 7.
Marsha was at the recording session at GMM Grammy to witness her boy’s professional crooning debut. To calm his nerves beforehand, she told Guy to think about his role he plays in the series so that he’d get the emotions right in the song.
To be fair to Guy, he’s got to be under a lot of pressure because his dad Amphol is also a star. But fortunately he seems to have inherited both parents’ talents.
Proof of that came in the form of a surprise compliment from superstar Thongchai “Bird” McIntyre, who happened to be at the studio.
