Vint Chavala should be well aware that the traditions and cultures of communities and countries vary and evolve over time, depending on a number of factors and circumstances. It is not always easy to copy those from one country to another, as Vint has suggested.
What we should hope is that leaders of communities and, to a larger extent, countries, have a firm vision and ambition to lead.
Thailand may be some years away from this if those in power work to satisfy their own greed, not the benefit of the nation.
