Asia's challenge at the 2013 PTT Pattaya Open will be led by five stars - Japan's Ayumi Morita, Misaki Doi and Kimiko Date-Krumm, and Taiwan's Su-Wei Hsieh and Chang Kai-chen.

The five Asian heavyweights will take their places in the main draw alongside leading European stars Ana Ivanovic, Maria Kirilenko, Sabine Lisicki, Sorana Cirstea, Heather Watson and Laura Robson at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Pattaya from January 27 to February 3.
Hseih Su-wei is likely to spearhead Asian hopes after her meteoric rise to world last year. Her best results have come in Asia, including a semi-final in Pattaya last year.
The Japanese threesome are regulars in Pattaya and will be aiming to improve on their performance last year when Doi and Date-Krumm both beat local opponents before falling in the second round to Cirstea and Hsieh respectively.
Joining the five Japanese and Taiwanese stars will be at least four Thai wild-card entrants into the main draw and qualifying rounds.
Tickets at Bt300, Bt500, Bt800 and Bt1,200 are available at www.PentanglePromotions.com and www.ThaiTicketMajor.com.
