Chelsea kicks off against Singha All Stars on July 17
Bangkok will be the first stop on the Chelsea Football Club Asian Tour with the former Premier League champions playing the Singha Thailand AllStar XI in the Singha Cup on Wednesday, July 17.
The Blues were last in the Thai capital in 2011. The tour will also see them stopping in Malaysia, and, for the first time, Indonesia.
The Rajamanagala National Stadium will be the venue for the match between Chelsea and the Thai team. The game will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Singha Corporation, the team’s global partner.
Chelsea is due to spend a week in Thailand between July 12 and 18 and the players will be taking part in many activities including expressing their best wishes to His Majesty the King at Siriraj Hospital.
