Hey, kids, let's make a movie!

The new film "Choice Khoo See Dee Tae Fun" is loaded with A-list stars, but if you blink you might miss them because they all flash on and off in cameo roles.

Hitting theatres today, this is Rybena “Nana” Intachai’s first time producing and the first time directing for her husband Prinya, better known as “Way Thaitanium”, and his pal Preeti “Bank” Barameeanant, former lead singer of the rock band Clash. The two guys also take the lead roles.
Nana, currently counting the days before her twin babies make a debut of their own, told Channel 3 that the movie was Way’s idea. Presumably she handed him an ATM card and said, “Go for it.”
Way and Bank play sales clerks in a convenience store where a lot of fun stuff takes place starring Nana’s showbiz friends. Scream when you see Somchai “Tao” Kemklad, Cris Horwang, Inthira “Sai” Jaroenpura, Patcharasri “Kalamare” Benjamas, Alicha “Ann” Laisuttruklai, Piyawat “PK” Kempetch and Bomb Donavanik.
They all had a blast, she says – although the movie is mysteriously billed as a “drama/comedy”.

Milking it
Ativara “Toon” Kongmalai, the singer with the charmingly named rock band Bodyslam, isn’t exactly an obvious choice to do commercials for milk, but he’s just been hired to do precisely that for Dutch Mill dairy products.
They probably couldn’t talk Ad Carabao into it. As Ad knows, rock stars are supposed to flog pickup trucks and beer, or at least energy drinks. Ice cream maybe not so much.
But Toon says he’s concerned about his health and has always drank milk, leading us to question his rock-star credentials. He’s properly skinny for a rocker, true, but he claims he exercises and has even entered several table-tennis competitions and the recent 21-kilometre half-marathon in Ratchaburi.
To be fair, Toon’s commercial CV includes the energy drink M-150 and Chang (albeit Chang drinking water, not the beer), as well as Pepsi-Cola, making him the king of drinks. Can’t wait to see him advertising fruit juice and green tea.
