Valentine’s day may be over for another year but with Thais being romantic types – and store and restaurant owners always eager to cash in on that love – many venues are still offering a wealth of promotions for those wanting to prolong the celebrations.

If you’re a chocolate lover, book a table at Willy’s Chocolate Dessert and indulge in home-made European-style pastries. The bakery belongs to a group of friends and is done out to resemble a friendly factory lined with chocolate tubes and decorated in yummy yellow and brown.
Only the best chocolate and ingredients are used in the cakes, which include delicious Chocolate Lava cake made with dark Belgian chocolate and served with fresh strawberries, marshmallow and vanilla ice cream then topped with vanilla cream sauce. The melt-in-the-mouth Chocolate Souffle will blow lovers’ minds away with its rich cream berry sauce and fresh strawberries. Sample it with an iced mixed berry or iced passion fruit soda.
Italian is the theme at Cafe Casta Bistro, a refreshing place to while away the hours thanks to walls painted to resemble green meadows and fields of flowers. Along with an assortment of fusion dishes, you’ll find different kinds of crepes including the Very Berry Crepe Cake served with blueberry sauce and lashings of fresh cream. Another favourite is the classic French Crepe Suzette with orange sauce and fresh orange that goes surprisingly well with an Iced Double Chocolate smoothie.
The popular Bake A Wish bakery offers variety of healthy Japanese desserts, based on original recipes from Kobe. The soft and crispy Choux Cream is a favourite here and come in five flavours – strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, green tea and lychee.
