Linksys Wireless-AC Universal Media Connector (model WUMC710) lets you connect your smart TV, network HD media player, Blu-ray player or game console to the Internet or your wireless home network.
It supports the new 802.11ac wireless protocol so it can be a perfect companion to Linksys EA6500 802.11ac wireless router.
With the super-fast speed of 1,300 Mpbs, the WUMC710 is ideal for streaming 3D or HD movie from a networked hard drive to your network media player or smart TV.
The WUMC710 has four Gigabit Ethernet ports for connecting to your smart TV or a networked media player and it will be linked to the EA6500 wirelessly using the 802.11ac protocol.
During the test, it was easy to link the media connector to the EA6500. You simply push the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the media connector and then press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button at the back of the EA6500 and it will be linked together to enjoy the fast connection speed.
Then your smart TV and networked media player will be online and ready to stream multimedia content from Internet or your networked hard disk at super-fast speed.
