Racist view of farang in cartoons
I agree fully with the letter by Brent about "a poor choice of cartoonist".
Stephff’s drawings show a racist attitude to foreigners and even to Thai people.
I am not able to publicise cartoons in a newspaper. Therefore I draw a verbal cartoon about “the Thai people”, also prejudiced and stereotyped, so I apologise in advance. Stephff’s view of “the farang” is equivalent to describing “the Thai” as “corrupt and greedy, superstitious and ignorant, a womaniser and violent”.
