A new generation is falling in love with the venerable brand's latest bags
Samsonite luggage has been around for more than 100 years, but the latest line, called Samsonite Red, is so cool that even South Korean teenagers love it.
Smart in design and vivid in colour, the new collection includes casual cross-shoulder bags, briefcases, totes, shopping bags, backpacks and Boston bags for both men and women, in a variety that makes them easy to match with whatever you’re wearing.
Guys who love adventure will appreciate the brown Topline 4 backpack with nude-tone zippers. The New Gen line’s briefcases and shoulder bags boast a “Youthful Appearance” concept. The Wax totes have sleeves, pockets and a compartment for your iPad.
Women will grab a Rachel shopping bag with its graffiti motif, the small cosmetic leather pouch, and the lightweight Mily tote with its spacious compartments.
There’s also a series of unisex bags, including the earth-tone Diego briefcase and backpack made from cotton, canvas and leather, and the Ombre leather tote in red, brown, black and cognac. Express backpacks roll on wheels and the duffle bags are made from polyester, in beige and black, for super-light weight and extra endurance.
