Thailand has problems that are manifold

One of the big problems we face is the weak and ineffective younger generation that we have. My generation, the fading grandparents, can only look in frustration as to when our younger folks will start walking the country forward.
My advice for them is this: Desperate situations call for desperate measures. Be on the streets if you must, and if that will make a difference to your country.
The readership of Thailand’s two English-language newspapers represents less than 1 per cent of the country’s population, so I take it as my duty to tell the world what is really happening here.
