CentralWorld recently launched the latest in its crowd-pleasing venues with Groove, a 20,000-square-metre space in front of The Offices at CentralWorld that brings together a variety of world-renowned restaurants, gastro bars and patisseries in one place.
“We looked at the consumption habits of young generation who are trendy, passionate about fashion and always on the lookout for places that augment their hip lifestyles,” explains Wallaya Chirathivat, CPN’s senior EVP for business development.
“So we decided to offer them a new destination that’s comparable to other leading metropolitan cities like New York, London, Hong Kong and Shanghai.”
Groove is home to Cicchetti, French restaurant Fauchon, Harrods tearoom, Maxim’s Bistro as well as Jones the Grocer as well as popular Thai brands such as Apinara, Hyde & Seek peek-a-boo, Greyhound Café, Hobs, Wine I Love You and Wabisabi.
Taking centre stage at the recent launch event was the three-metre-high art installation titled “Tokidoki Karl Lagerfeld” Italian artist Simone Legno.
Among the celebs turning out for the launch were Chanavat Uahwatanasakul, Nartaya, Isareit-Jutatham, Sansana and Pimpisa from the Chirathivat clan, Pajit Thomya, Apichai Techa-ubon, Julpayap, Yuki, Apinara, Pimpaya and Ploypayap Srikanjana, Patri Pakdeebutr, Paul Sirisant, ML Chaivat Chayangkul, Chanont Buranond, Nontivat Prapanond, Nusara Assakul-Banyatpiyaphod, Thipravee Puchai, Win Singpattanakul, and Ananda Everingham.
