Govt maintaining peaceful stance, in contrast to the protest leaders

You must be crazy to think the government was behind the bombs and drive-by shootings that maimed and killed anti-government protesters.
This government is soft as Jell-O. It wouldn’t even use tear gas and water cannon on the mobs, fearful of harming them, let alone bombs and assault weapons.
And does anyone ever wonder why the attacks were aimed at bystanders, not the leaders of the mobs? Need I say more?
