So they ought to be splitting up by now, right?
Well, that’s what some unknown “source” wants the world to believe, but so far there’s no hard evidence that the rumour is true. And, when it comes to celebrity marriages, a rumour like that is not only expected, it’s practically required by law, and as soon after the honeymoon as possible, please.
Still, it’s all rather sudden that Janie and her hubby might be living separate lives a mere 11 months into their marriage. Can it be true? Janie isn’t saying anything, but Paula Taylor Buttery, a fellow member of the “Angel Gang” of lovely celebrity gal-pals, cast doubt on the gossip. Under intense interrogation by reporters, Paula refused to crack.
“Nope, I haven’t heard a thing about it,” she said, pointing out that the available evidence indicates the contrary. “Her Instagram account still has lots of sweet photos of them.” In fact Paula is hoping Janie and Chonsawat will have a baby sometime soon because she’s looking for the right time to have her second.
Yes, yes, yes, all very well, but the sleuths at RumourMill.com (Twitter, Pantip, etc) will not pause until they nail down this business about a break-up. The rest of the Angel Gang is on full alert. Nana Rybena Tanwimon, Cris Horwang, Virithipa “Woonsen” Yamnarm and the others need to get their story straight, because the press is coming after them.

Poodle cleans house
Panjaree “Poodle” Na Nakhon, long a favourite character actress on TV, mostly for her roles as an amusingly silly maid, isn’t likely to be polishing anyone’s furniture ever again now that she’s been promoted to producer. Among the new crop of series producers being groomed at Channel 3, Poodle is in charge of the prime-time romantic comedy “Rak Nee Je Jad Hai”, which is getting good feedback from viewers.
Poodle had a better-than-your-average-maid education at Chulalongkorn University, in communication arts, which stood her in good stead for production duties. But she mostly credits her leading man for the show’s success. Pachata “Foam” Nampan plays identical twins Pete (who’s gay) and Paul (who’s straight) in the series. “He expresses both of the characters very well,” Poodle points out.
“As Pete, he has to be like a little girl trapped in a man’s body. A lot of people have told me they’d love to have a close friend who’s as cute as Pete.”
Pete and Paul and Poodle are enjoying such hearty response from viewers that Channel 3 is already looking for another series she can take on. It remains to be seen whether she’ll stick to comedy, which is clearly her forte, or have a go at more serious territory, but, one way or another, it beats doing the dishes. This maid has moved on.
