The baying hounds of political correctness have forced PM Prayuth to apologise for saying, “[Tourists] think our country is beautiful and is safe so they can do whatever they want, they can wear bikinis and walk everywhere.”
Take a walk down Khao San Road and ask was he wrong. If not, the baying hounds should just shut up and take their global outcries elsewhere.
In a related development, Pavida Pananond, a professor at Thammasat University, has been quoted as saying, “Traditional Thai wear for women is topless.”
This noble tradition has languished in oblivion far too long.
Would it not be possible to revive it?
