A cautionary tale for Pheu Thai

TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2016

Autumn was coming, but it was still warm, and a little bird decided to delay its flight south.

Suddenly the temperature dropped, so the little bird set off south, but had to give up because of the cold. Grounded, he was giving up hope, when a passing cow deposited a cow pat on his head. It was so lovely and warm that the bird started singing. The farm cat arrived and ate him.
The moral of this story is that somebody who dumps on you is not necessarily your enemy and that, if you are in the s**t, keep your mouth shut.
The Pheu Thai Party brought about the current political crisis, yet it feels free to criticise the government and, no doubt very soon, will criticise the judicial system. Pheu Thai should learn the lesson of the little bird.
