Kiradech Aphibarnrat stumbled to a third round of 77 to drop to joint 23 rd in the Masters Tournament at the Augusta National Golf Course.

The Kingdom’s No 1 player , after two days of even pars, committed five bogeys in the first 10 holes before shooting two straight birdies on the 13 th and 14 th only to finish with a double bogey on the last hole. His total three day was five-over-par 221, eight behind the leader Jordan Spieth.

“My driver was still acceptable but I just put didn’t putt well. It was very windy out there on course. There are  many slopes and the green was so tough. I couldn’t catch up with the  green speed which is getting faster every day. The pin positions are also  tough,” said the 26-year-old.

“However, five 5 over  was not too bad with the  course condition setting up so tough like this with winds. But I myself made mistakes too, having 3 putts for 3 holes. I just try to improve tomorrow by  not making easy mistakes on my short putts, and try hit the long putts close to the pins as much as possible,” said Kiradech who hoped to finish a top 10.

Thongchai Jaidee meanwhile hit a 81 for a total 13-over-par 229 which saw him stand at joint 53 rd place.
