Today’s progressives have a totalitarian goal

Progressives are intent on making progress. Progress is simply moving towards a predetermined objective. Whether the goal be downhill or uphill, progress is made when moving towards that goal.
Progress can be made towards utopia or equally towards dystopia. While Mr Jaynus seems to assume the progressives have the former as their objective, evidence over centuries and particularly over recent decades clearly proves otherwise. The current socio-political global movement is decisively towards dystopia and it’s driven by overwhelmingly wealthy megalomaniacs.
As the old saying goes, “To ASSUME, ignoring evidence, makes an ASS out of U and ME”. Current partisan globalist media propaganda encourages the gullible to ignore evidence. Totalitarianism thrives on naivety and apathy. It makes asses out of the masses. The first objective is a totally compliant, unchallenging population that receives, does not assimilate, but is programmed to follow a controlling elite. 
Throughout history many attempts at total control over areas of the globe have been made, usually by force of arms, and have failed.  From Genghis Khan to the Romans, Napoleon and Hitler, attempts have faded while their legacies do remain to a degree. Even Chairman Mao’s ideology has been tempered with a form of capitalism. 
The two political totalitarian ideologies that persist are communism and Islam. Modern communism is far more subtle than that spawned in 1917, its weapon not physical but psychological. Political correctness, Marxist culture, destroys freedom of expression and thereby the individual mind. Opening national borders to the alien totalitarian ideology of Islam destroys the nation state. It’s all in preparation for the new world order, controlled by the massively financed Bilderberg Group with its propaganda lackeys, the mainstream media and the movie industry, with a compliant world population under one god represented by the Pope.
Research Culdenhove Kalagi, Eric Zemmour in France, JFK, Jean Monet, EEC morphing to EU, check out the Trans-pacific Partnership, TPP, and so much more. But above all take an objective view of reality, particularly the current political theatre in the United States: the struggle between Goliath, the dystopian globalists represented by the Democratic Party puppet, and David for the sovereign state. Evidence is plentiful for those who not only look, but actually see.
