The three-day dance festival known as the White Party comes back to Bangkok

THE 2016-17 edition world’s largest gay dance festival came to an end on Sunday night with a White Party Jock Ball that closed out with revellers dancing to a flamboyant show by English singer, songwriter and model Sophie Ellis Bextor who brought the house down with her global hit “Murder on the Dancefloor”.
Held once again at Muang Thai GMM Live House on the eighth floor of CentralWorld, the Jock Ball also featured sets by DJs Tommy Love and Danny Dee who later handed over the decks to superstar DJs Tom Stephan (Superchubo) and Danny Verde and DJ Shangela.
The three-day dance festival kicked off on December 30 with the White Party Military Ball, which saw party-goers dress up in their military best and move to the beats of DJs, Nacho Chapado and Binomio. The evening also featured a fashion show led by male models Arad Winwin and Cory Zwierzynski from Andrew Christian, an American men’s underwear, swimwear, and sportswear manufacturer.
The biggest celebration took place on December, with the White Party New Year’s Eve disciples dancing to spins from DJs Aron and Suri and enjoying a terrific show from men’s underwear brand Marco Marco before counting down to 2017 with laser beams.
Drag queen Rhea Litre joined Murray Swanby, one of the world’s hottest models from Los Angeles, on the stage for the first show of a new year.
