A vast new line of clothes and accessories awaits discerning shoppers at Club 21

CLUB 21 Thailand has stocked up on the latest gear from Italian designer Giorgio Armani who, rather than slowing down at age 82, just seems to get sportier and more energetic all the time.
You can also check out the new clothes and accessories including wristwatches from Emporio Armani and Armani Junior at the Yen Arkart Villa Gallery.
The main look in the women’s clothing is comfortable, light and charming, balancing elegance and sensuality, magic and femininity. In fact the new collection is given the punning name “Charmani”.
And the shapes brim with charm, unveiling the legs just long enough to grab attention and then quickly covering them again. There are echoes of exotic cultures in the short sarong-skirts, sequel shorts in soft jersey and trousers of diaphanous veils.
Jacquard-knit jumpsuits boast a dynamic momentum to be combined with abbreviated deconstructed jackets in luxurious fabrics with a techno texture or woven leather.
The prints fuse designs that catch the eye in a hypnotic palette of blue and purple with touches of white, beige and red.
Proportions are restrained for eveningwear and a profusion of impalpable micro-sequins and crystal embroidery is applied to dresses cut from lightweight georgette or organza.
Flat slippers, strapped boots and high-heeled sandals round off an image that’s sensual and uninhibited, yet tempered by the soft precision that is Giorgio Armani’s hallmark.
In the men’s line, natural textures bring out primary fibres such as linen and cotton specially woven for added firmness. Silk features throughout.
Patterns include geometric motifs and decorative elements for a “vaguely Caribbean” vibe. The suit and jacket are light and the startling shapes result from skilful redesign and re-tailoring.
The palette is romantic one with red accents against warm greys and light blues.
The Emporio Armani men’s and women’s collections evoke the brand’s customary spirit of belonging balanced against individualism.
The digital prints in woven jacquard and a stylised eagle are the recurring visual elements in garments inspired by athletic wear but made with finer materials.
Unexpected details appear as well – metallic patches for a military touch and a romantic touch of foliage embroidered with reflective thread.
Bomber jackets of flexible volumes, pea coats and trench coats can be paired with straight-leg trousers or trousers with double pleats that have a looser fit. The more constructed jackets have curved shoulders.
The colours are typical of Emporio Armani – navy and denim blue and urban greens paired with greys and touches of red, orange and electric blue.
Customisation to suit each wearer’s personality is easily done with the accessories, such as weightless lace-ups and sandals and bags and backpacks.
The Armani Junior collection adapts the rigorous codes of the adult lines to the needs of younger wearers in both basic pieces and more fashionable items that favour natural fabrics.
Watch choices in the Emporio Armani Swiss Made Spring 2017 Collection reflect the fluid, graceful lines of the Art Deco movement of the 1930s and ’40s. The brand’s dynamic styling meets modern technology in the Emporio Armani Connected hybrid smartwatch and other timepieces with the added benefits of wearable technology. They’ll track your activities as well as your sleep.
A manga bear adds fun touches to a line comprising a lady’s watch, double bracelet and long necklace.
