Regarding Tuesday’s letter, “Pattaya a foul boil on backside of Thailand” (January 17), the writer Leon Dimitrescu questions why the filth and vileness exists. Unfortunately I think he’s answered his own question.
The answer is found in the saying “If you build it, they will come.”
