I think it’s great that the public has shown so much empathy to the turtle who recently died because of all those coins she swallowed.
But wouldn’t it be even greater if the public showed the same empathy towards the tens of billions of animals who are murdered and tortured every year for food? As a vegan I don’t understand why people only care about animals in isolated cases while overlooking the greatest number of atrocities that are committed against animals by the animal food industries.
