Singha Championship’s current leader  Pavit Tangkamolprasert is ready to start the final round this morning after being given an intravenous therapy at hospital last night.

The 27-year-old vomited and lost lots of fluids due to food poisoning during his third round competition on Saturday but gritted his teeth to finish the day. He was taken to hospital last night and had been given an IV for four hours.

“There’s nothing critical now. I feel better and can compete in the final round,” Pavit told The Nation.

He is to start his round at 8.50am with four strokes ahead of 2016 All Thailand Tour rookie of the year Chanachok Dejpiratanamongkol at 17 under at the Rayong Green Valley Country Club. Pavit last won an All Thailand title at the Phoenix Gold, 2014.
