Britney comes to Bangkok
It’s been in the wind since Britney Spears announced her concerts in Manila and Hong Kong in June but now it’s official – the American singer is performing in Bangkok on June 24 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani.
This is her first visit to Thailand and already fans are fretting about whether they’ll be able to buy a ticket given the likely popularity of her one show.
Tickets are expected to sell out within minutes of going on sale on May 6 at ThaiTicketMajor despite prices starting at Bt3,500.
Spears, one of the most successful and celebrated entertainers in pop history, is best known for massive hits during the ’90s and early 2000s like “Oops… I Did it Again”, “Toxic” and “Baby One More Time”. She has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, making her one of the world’s bestselling artists of all time.
She is currently on a world tour to promote her ninth studio album, “Glory”, which includes the hit single “Make Me…”.
