Ladies that rock
Girls Rock! Asia – Asia’s first all-girls “battle of the band” competition – is kicking off its 2017 Tour at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub on Convent Road in Silom tonight (May 6) at 8pm.
The lineup includes The Grumps, winner of Girls Rock! Asia 2016, Earthcollide, Simple Band and an Arctic Monkeys tribute band.
The Grumps features Napak Boonruang on vocals and guitar, Parichart Pedpa on guitar, Sineenart Sithilertprasit on bass and Kununya Sinlapasorn on drums. Simple Band has six members, each with her own talent and skills, while Earthcollide is a collaboration between Thailand’s Earth and Marie Wilson from Australia and plays a mix of rock ‘n’ roll and pop rock
The show will start with the Arctic Monkeys tribute band with The Grumps taking over at 8.45, Earthcollide & Her Stalkers at 10 and The Simple Band at 11.
